Approved. Demolition of buildings and redevelopment to provide two six storey buildings above lower ground and row of three storey townhouses comprising up to 168 residential units with ancillary facilities (Class C3) and a Sports Hall (Class D2), and associated car park, energy centre and all other works incidental to the proposed development.

Maydew House, Abbeyfield Estate, Abbeyfield Road

Scheme approved. Refurbishment of the existing 144 residential units and the erection of a 5 storey extension providing 24 additional residential units (Class C3). Landscape improvements to the front of Maydew House, with a new residential entrance at ground floor and residents amenities at first floor together with a new community facility (Class D1) at ground floor. New pedestrian route and gates into Southwark Park and other associated works incidental to the development.

18-19 Crimscott Street

Scheme approved. Redevelopment of the site to provide a part 6 / part 9 storey building (plus basement) with 1835sqm GIA of Class B1 office floorspace and 55 residential units (Class C3) and associated car and cycle parking and landscaping.

Bede Centre, Abbeyfield Road

Scheme approved. Demolition of existing bede Centre (D1 use) and construction of part-9 storey and part-6 storey block providing 87 affordable homes with associated cycle stores, refuse store, car parking, and landscaping and  highway improvements along Abbeyfield Road and adjacent to Thaxted Court.

Lavender Court, 168-178 Westway and existing play area on Joslings Close

Scheme approved. Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment to provide a part four to part six storey building comprising 45 residential units (C3) (24 affordable rented units and 21 shared ownership units) with associated access, car parking, landscaping and other associated works.

Boiler House, Belper Court, 1 Pedro Street

Scheme approved. Demolition of existing boiler house and erection of a part 3, part 8 storey building to provide 26 residential units (C3 use) together with associated landscaping, public realm works, cycle parking and refuse storage facilities.

130 Kingsland High Street

Scheme approved. Demolition of existing building and redevelopment to provide a ground floor retail unit (Class A1) and a Hotel (C1 use) on the upper floors on the upper floors with ancillary reception at ground floor level and co-working and cafe floorspace at lower ground floor level in a building ranging from 3 to 6 storeys.

The London Television Centre, 60 – 72 Upper Ground

Scheme approved. Demolition of existing buildings and the construction of two new buildings (up to 14 storeys and 31 storeys in height with two basement levels) for the provision of circa. 44,434 sq. m of offices (Use Class B1), 3,634 sq.m of television studios (Sui Generis), 216 sq. m of retail (Use Class A1) and 213 residential dwellings (Use Class C3) with associated vehicle and cycle parking, access works, servicing and landscaping.

Graphite Square

Scheme refused. Demolition of existing office, warehouse and church buildings (use classes B1, B8 and D1), and redevelopment of the site to provide a residential led mixed-use development with a podium building of ground plus 3 storeys (fronting onto Worgan Street) connecting a ground plus 9 storey building (fronting Worgan Street), a ground plus 13 storey building (fronting Worgan Street and Jonathan Street) to provide 160 residential units, offices (use class B1), a ground-floor flexible retail/cafe/office (flexible use class A1/A3/B1), a replacement Methodist church (use class D1), and provision of a single basement, together with servicing, car and cycle parking, and provision of a new public realm and associated works.
