City of London

The Estates Gazette reports US-serviced office group, Convene, is set for its second Foray into London. The American firm is reportedly in talks with developer YardNines over taking over 67,000 sq. ft across the property. When completed, EightyFen will provide 240,000 sq. ft across 14-floors with 12,500 of retail space and six rooftop gardens.

Tower Hamlets

The Estates Gazette reports that global insurer QBE Insurance has agreed to take 31,796 sq. ft on a 10-year lease at Exchange Tower, E14, from Gaw Capital. Located just south of the Canary Wharf Estate, Exchange Tower at 1 & 2 Harbour Exchange Square sits within the Harbour Exchange Campus. Josh Lamb, director in Savills City office agency team, which advised Gaw Capital, commented: “The nine-acre Harbour Exchange campus has proven an attractive location for office occupiers seeking high-quality office space at an affordable price point.”
