City of Westminster

The Evening Standard reports that Victoria Coach Station could be closed and moved to a new location, saying that the site could be worth as much as £150m.

The Evening Standard reports that US investment firm Hines has purchased 354-358 Oxford Street for around £41m for TfL. It is currently a vacant site next to the Disney store and is directly opposite the main Bond Street station exit. Hines intend to create a scheme drawn up by architects at Fletcher Priest, comprising new shops and eleven apartments.

EG reports that IWG has agreed to let 25 Wilton Street from Royal London for its Spaces brand. Opposite Victoria Station, the recently revamped building provides 80,000 sq ft of offices, which IWG is understood to have taken on a 15 year lease for around £65 per sq ft.

EG reports that WeWork has agreed to take space at Manor House, 21 Soho Square.

Southwark

EG reports that Southwark Council has bought Courage Yard from Colombia Threadneedle. It includes 67,900 sq ft of offices let to Zoopla on a 13-year lease ending in 2031, 17,900 sq ft of shops and 160 homes. The combined income for the Yard is £4.75m per year.

Tower Hamlets

EG reports that the Mayor has called for revisions to the EIA application for the regeneration of the former Westferry Printworks on the Isle of Dogs. The application seeks to double the number of homes on the site to 1,537 and increase the height of the buildings from a maximum of 30 storeys to 46 storeys.
