PW reports that Telereal Trillium has sold 268-270 High Holborn, WC1, to a UK pension fund for £42.7m.

EG reports that Aberdeen Asset Management is preparing to sell to 7 Herbrand Street, WC1, at a price in excess of £52m.

City of London

PW reports that Aroland Holdings has submitted a detailed planning application for a 73-storey building at 1 Undershaft, EC3. It would be the tallest building in the City of London.

PW reports that a private Russian client of BNP Paribas Real Estate has put 23 Austin Friars up for sale with an asking price of £40m.

EG reports that the Prince’s Trust is to sell its City of London HQ at 9 Eldon Street, EC2, for bids in excess of £20m.

City of Westminster

EG reports that Irvine Sellar’s 72-storey “Paddington Pole” may be halved in height. The 5,500 sq ft floorplates will expand to 12,000 sq ft to accommodate the loss in height in and therefore maintain financial viability. Revised plans are expected to be submitted in the autumn.

EG reports that Green Property Ventures is preparing to sell 7-8 St James’s Square, SW1, for around £250m.

Timberland is opening its first standalone footwear shop in the UK at 158 Oxford Street, W1. The VF Corporation-owned brand will take 1,500 sq ft on a 10-year lease for £500,000 pa, with the store opening in March.

Islington

PW reports that Viridis Real Estate has secured planning permission for the development of an eight-storey office and commercial building at 119 Farringdon Road, EC1.

EG reports that dining and cinema experience the Lounge by Odeon is due to open in Islington Square, N1, in late 2017.

Kensington & Chelsea

EG reports that CPC Group has won its appeal to redevelop Dukes Lodge on the edge of Holland Park, W11. Having purchased the mansion block of 27 flats for £50m in 2013, its plans for 24 luxury flats and five townhouses were rejected in 2015. The planning inspectorate has now overturned that decision.

Lambeth

EG reports that Carillion has been selected as Lambeth College’s preferred bidder for a £150m residential development of its Wandsworth Road campus, SW8. The scheme, known as Vauxhall Exchange, will include 200 flats and have an end value of £90m.

Southwark

PW reports that Zoopla Property Group has agreed a lease on a new 44,000 sq ft head office at 1 Courage Yard, SE1 , adjacent to Tower Bridge. The move will consolidate three offices.
